I am using alot of skin mark lightening things (like doing glycolic masks, arbutin essence, etc) and am aware of the impotance of using SPF when outdoors in sunlight. But what about indoor lighting from like 100 watt bulbs; should i wear sunscreen to protect against indoor lighting as well?

i've never thought of that , guess it can't possible harm u to wear sunscreen (indoors or outdoors) however, i don't think it's necessary to wear sunscreen walking around the house @ night

Florescent lighting is said to emit small doses of ultra violet radiation which may, in the long run, pose additional skin problems. Use products indoors, with at least SPF 15.

I agree with Mel. Sounds like a good idea to me to wear at least a lower SPF indoors around strong lighting.

I agree as well with a few wear a lower SPF indoors around strong lighting

To answer youir question, YES!!!! Always wear sunscreen even indoors . The suns rays are everywhere plus artificial light will age our skin as well. Wear a sunscreen 365 days and re apply it as much as possible at least ever 4 hours , 2 hours are ideal but it's usually not possible. HTH

i guess this means we need to wear sunscreen even at night when we're using our computers.

I bought a vmv hypoallergenic it's a sunscreen and indoor light too for the computer radiation something like that. my dermatologist told me being in front of the monitor is not good also
