My skin type is oily, how about you? I tried a lot of skin card products, have no good effect.Do you have a good suugestions?

Last month, my sister bought this Clinique 3-Step Skin Care System for me, i used it for half of month, i feel comfortable, have you ever used it ?

Tell me some ways to prevent oliy skin. thanks!

Hi there I'm new to this but I have also tried the Clinque skin care line. Personally, I wasn't very impressed. I used all 3 products day and night and was pretty consistent. I will also say that I tried these products oh boy, at least 3 or so years ago already (assuming lol). The objective is to find something that keeps our skin matte (or close to matte) for a long period of time. Nothing will last all day (I've learned the hard way after purchasing a bizzilion items haha) but what I try to achieve is at LEAST like 6 hours of no-touchups. With Clinque's skin care (and at the time I was using their foundations) I didn't have much luck. Within a few hours my skin was oily again and blotting all the time. Even after like an hour of just using the skin care, not applying makeup, my skin was already producing the oils. I said no way.

As of now (and after trying like everything lol) I'm stuck on Boscia's "Clear Complexion" line (found at Sephora and Ulta and obv. prob. online). With oily skin, I have large pores and I'm prone to breakouts. This line has seemed to calm the breakouts and oil production a bit.

ohh ya

****also consider investing in a clarisonic. that thing is amazing. i was very hesitant for like 4 months after reading all the reviews (which are like all positive but it's expensive so that was the concern) but so far it's one of the best investments I've made yet!

hope that helps...or at least a little bit lol sorry about going off in a tangent there

I've tried a bunch of skincare for oily skins in the past, and none of them managed to keep my skin matte all day. I can't remember all the brands, mostly cheap brands from the supermarket. The more expensive stuff i tried kept it matte until noon, more or less.

I've also tried Clinique's moisturizer from the 3 step line, and i suppose i'd like it better if i was an oil slick, but for me at that time i was more oily to combination and the moisturizer was simply drying my skin.

The one moisturizer i'd recommend blindfolded is L'occitane's rice moisturizer. It's a pricey product, as always with that brand (alas !), but it works. I wouldn't recommend it for combination skins unless you only use it on your T zone, but it really mattifies and keeps your skin matte all day.

What also makes a difference is your sunscreen, make sure it's made for oily skins and it has a very light consistency.
