Has anyone ever tried sofina sunblock? It has gotten rave reviews on makeupalley.com. Im curious because I dont want to use the laRoche posay this year. Its a japanese product and its supposed to be really great.

I tried Sofina sunblock(white version).Unfortunately broke me out

It has eucaliptus oil and alkohol-not the best ingredients for sensitive skin.If U have normal, not sensitive skin-give it a try.

Good that I ordered only 3 samples

U can order samples from BoboDave Online Shop

The best sunblock I found for my sensitive skin was Loreal Ombrelle spf 60

do you know the ingredients? or the ppd? what makes you want to try something other than lrp?

Well Im not crazy about the LRP, I know it has the menoxryl but yeckk my skin feels and looks so greasy with it on! I also dont like the white cast it leaves. The sofina just got great reviews, and I am anxious to try it out. Im going to order it, and I will let you guys know how it works out.

Try Loreal Ombrelle spf 45 lotion for children. Is not greasy at all ,but it has alkohol ,so I use it for my body, loreal Ombrelle spf 60 is a little more heavy but I dont find it greasy.I had a sample of LRP sunscreen and it was too heavy for me.Let us know how Sofina worked for U.Sofina feels like silk U will propably love the texture of this sunblock :too bad that broke me out

Ok got the product and I have tried it for the past week. For those of you that are curious it feels great!! You will not feel like an oily mess, it goes on really matte BUT beware dryskinned people. It could feel kind of dry, I have totally normal skin, so if it did that to me, Its not really for dry skin. Otherwise its a great product, the reviews were right~

Otherwise its a great product, the reviews were right~ hey which sofina suncreen did you use? lucent or white protect? I just bought the lucent which had raving reviews on MUA. I was wondering if the alcohol will affect my skin since I'm acne-prone/dehydrated/sensitive.

I tried the lucent... Is there a difference in the alcohol content between the lucent and white protect? The ingredients are not in english, and I do worry about the high alcohol content and effect on skin.

supposely sofina has three types of this sunscreen. lucent, nuance, and white protect.

but im surprised even a japanese line would even have alcohol-based content in their ingredients as most of their products are suppose to be hydrating. anyway, i think they put it in their ingredients because i know sofina's sunscreens are waterproof.

ok so I tried it out for a few weeks already. It's actually not that bad. I can definitely smell the alcohol content, but HASN'T affected my skin, and I've been using it for about hmm 2-3 weeks. Honestly, you do not need much of this product because this stuff is matte. I tired mixing it with my lotion, and it just kinda made my skin feel chalky for a minute. Mixing this product w/ lotion is not recommended from me. I don't think I can live without this sunscreen now, my skin did feel a bit naked when I didn't put it on one day.
