How do you keep your legs smooth for days after you shave? You shave then the next day they aren't smooth and you feel like you need to shave again. Please Help!

i would suggest depilatories (Veet) or waxing. Shaving always makes my hair grow back fast and coarse

I agree, waxing is probably the solution. I never shave my legs because I know i'll get really coarse hair. when you wax though, u need to exfoliate so you don't get ingrown hairs.

There is no way to help that - unfortunatly...I certainly wish there was any easier way than waxes and stuff HAHA!

You can try those body lotions that are supposed to inhibit hair growth. I know Suave makes a cheap one, but you have to use it *every day* to see results. I've started getting waxed instead. It definitely lasts longer than either shaving or using depilatories.

i just wanted to add that if u ever decide on waxing, Bliss Poetic Spa Waxing Kit (@ Sephora) works realli well. and it lasts for quite a while. There's no strip required. just heat the wax, apply (it dries realli quick though, so work small areas @ a time) and peel off ... soo easy and the hair takes forever to grow back compared to shaving.

I've found a good way of shaving your legs! You probably don't relize it but when your shaving you shave upwards with the razor instead of going down in the direction of the hair. I shave downwards on my legs once or twice a week and they've kept smooth and decent looking :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />.

I shave daily, and that helps. I always exfoliate before shaving too! That definitely helps!

Pure shea butter. I massage it into my damp skin immediately after I shower. How I know it works? Chris said my skin is soft and smooth like butter.

My sister uses Aveeno after she gets out of the shower and she swears it keeps her legs smoother.

Those home waxing kits have never worked for me..all they would do is make the area I try to wax red and irritated, without removing the hair.

Am I doing something wrong? :kopfkratz:
