Hi All,

Do you change your skincare products or routine during the winter season?

I like using the Dermalogica line during the warmer months and Repechage during the winter (it's a bit heavier). My water intake remains the same, but I tend to eat more veggies when its warmer.

Just curious...

I change mine..I tend to use products with natural/essential oils in them during the winter and in the summer I use olay daily moisturizer with spf..or aveeno.

Yes, I change mine. In the summer I use fewer and lighter products, but in the winter I've been known to apply Nivea cream all over my face at night.

I never really thought about it...lol. Though I do tend to change skin care all the time, so I rarely use the same thing. And when I do find something that's worth sticking to, I stick with that, AND use other stuff for the same thing, lol. So I do continiously change products, just for the heck of it, not specifically for summer or winter, lol.

YES!

Although I'm oily all 4 seasons, I get somewhat less oily in the winter time. Therefore I can use more heavier creams! Creams go nicely over my spot treatments (bp) or my glycolic acids, and give me nice supple skin the next morning.

I also tend to use moisturizer under foundation now, whereas in the summertime I didn't need it.

i change my face masks, moisturizer, and i add a night cream.

and if my face is dry, on occation will use a creamy face wash.

just depends how my stupid face is.

i change my routine or products depending on how my skin responds. not so much by season. generally my routine works for my year round.

Not really... When I lived in GA, it didn't get as cold as it does here in NY. On the same token, last winter was my first one here, and my skin was wacky anyway from the weather & water change. I might go with a thicker cream if I feel the need, but it's doubtful.

i said no, because i have dry skin all year round, winter time the heater running makes it worse, and the summer the sun dries me out as well! so i have to use thick cream no matter what!

Yes...I have to change my skin care. I need more moisture in the winter so I usually switch to oil/creams and stay w/lotions in the summer.
