Skincare Help

I'm hoping a few of you here may be able to help. I'm a 20 year old student and lately I have found my legs are getting dry once I've showered. I've never needed to use a body lotion before and don't really know whats good and whats not. Are you able to recommend a cheapish body lotion I can get from the drugstore

some cream of ¿oat? ((I don't knwow if it is said this way, sorry :S))

Or some oil to use with the humid skin (this moisturizes very much)
