People usually say that when you get pregnant you will break out more....from all the changes in your body...and you skin will break out.....

BUt for me it actually made it better!!

before i got pregnanat (got pregnant at 18) i always broke ou especially on my chin and it would take forver to clear up and leave acne scars.....but when i got pregnant was skin cleared up and now im still clear...i get one or 2 pimples before getting my period but other than that my skin is really good...and im keeping it that way by using cremes and stuff :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

That is awesome!! If you were on pre-natals that could have been the leading cause! My face didn't get better or worse, if seemed to stay the same LOL!

noope i did take them in the first 2nd month but i stopped after i hated how big the vitamins were..and too much iron in them made me constipated alot.....so i gave up on them which made me and my baby anemic..=/

BUt im glad my skin is clear

My parents told me that after a woman gets pregnant, her body changes. Her blood is basically changed into new blood, like it's been filter. The skin is suppose to get better because in hormone changes after pregnancy. Stuff like that...correct me if I am wrong.

i guess everyone reacts to hormonal changes differently! go figure! lol~

I was the opposite. My face started breaking out when I was pregnant. And though I never really had acne, I do seem to always have a pimple or two. Before pregnancy, I had clear skin. But I'm glad it was the reverse for you.

After Baby, I developed undereye bags probably from lack of sleep- other than that, I think my skin stayed pretty much the same- sigh- would have liked to have reduced the redness in my face.

i never had break outs when i was pregnant either . but i dont break out much anyways..

my skin started clearing up when i was pregnant too.. maybe due to prenatal vitamins?

I've read that women often that a glow from pregnancy. Their skin clears up, their hair gets a little darker, and their lips become fuller and more pigmented. It's been suggested that it is linked to evolution/reproductive/ maternal/paternal investment--the female becomes more beautiful so the male sticks around.
