Use gentle and natural ingredients.

Massage your body either with lime and honey or sour curd for 5 to 10 minutes before shower.

Scrub using strawberries

Once a week, remove the stems and mash 5-7 strawberries.

Gently massage the paste into clean, damp skin.

Keep it on for 5-10 minutes and rinse well with warm water and pat dry.

Strawberries contain salicylic acid and ellagic acid which rids your skin of dead cells that can clog pores and helps heal blemishes.

For oily skin use a mask containing fullers’ earth, sandalwood and rose water alternate evenings for 10 to 15 minutes.

Apart from these eat healthy foods and have a good and relaxed sleep..

Hope this helps and share your tips too...

I actually disagree with this. If a bride wants to change her skin care routine she should start months before the wedding. I can't count the number of times friends and acquaintances have told me stories of how a few days before their wedding they went in for a facial and it ended up ruining their skin.

Totally agree Jackie - always do facials and massages at least a week before the big day.

Nothing like showing up for the big day only to have skin irritations - makes for lovely photos

Friends I dint mention any particular period like for one week or more than a week like that.... The to be bride will surely take extra care for her skin than ever that is what i would like to convey..

As long as the bride's skin is fairly clear, she shouldn't really deviate from the regiment she already has. Why mess with a good thing?

She could pamper herself and get massages and facials but not really a necessary additional expense IMO.

Unless you have a huge wedding budget, continue as usual. Change is unpredictable and could be more bad than good if you have an allergic reaction. You also run the risk that your skin decides to purge 2 wks after you start your new regimen and you started your new routine 2wks before your wedding!

I agree with Jackie. Change would need to be months before. If you have an allergic reaction, you'd need at least 2 weeks to get it cleared. The stress would also aggravate the irritation and prolong it.

Also, strawberries are not good even on your skin if you have a strawberry allergy but you can use an aspirin mask. Same effect - no allergy risk.

I am a true believer that the wedding does not determine the marriage. Everyone focuses on the wonderful wedding but after that 1 day, the marriage is there 'as long as we both shall live'.
