Skin Care Tip: Exfoliating with flannel for smoother and brighter skin
submitted by Nicki
For smoother and brighter skin l always rub in a creamy make-up remover, remove it with warm water and a soft terry-toweling flannel and then repeat the process but this time spend a little longer 'exfoliating' with the flannel. It should be a soft flannel, not a rough one. Repeatedly rinse it well in warm/hot water and gently rub in circles around critical areas, forehead, nose and chin. Afterwards, splash cool water on face and neck and then you're ready to apply creams etc.
The result is smoother and brighter skin. I always used to you an exfoliating cream, until my sister told me that a dermatologist told her that a flannel is really the best (and obviously the cheapest) way to obtain the same results. In my opinion, the results are better. Ever been to bed wearing your make-up? Shock horror! Everyone knows that it's a killer for your skin, and it's not something I do very often, however, on the rare occasions that I've done this, the make-up remover cream with warm/hot flannel really does make your skin look better and consequently makes you feel less guilty! Note: Always rinse your flannel out in very hot water afterwards and hang to dry. A damp flannel will soon breed bacteria and smell nasty. Not something you want anywhere near your face! Change flannel every couple of days.
