Don't spend tons of money on skin care products this summer.
1. Skin Cleansers: Found in your own fridge is the best chemical-free cleanser…milk! It does a body good, and it helps clean your summer skin. All you need to do is dip a cotton-ball in milk and wipe your face with it. It'll clean unseen dirt and it gets down into your pores, too.
When you have lemons, don't make lemonade-make a cleanser. Once a week, squeeze some lemons and rub the juice on your skin. Rinse off when you're done, make sure not to get it in your eyes.
2. Skin Conditioners: An easy conditioner for your face is simply mixing 1 tablespoon of honey with 2 tablespoons of cream (of milk). Leave it on for a few minutes and wash off with warm water.
What's up Doc? Grate a carrot and boil it in water. Let cool and then massage the mixture on your face for a few minutes to get super-smooth skin.
3. Skin Facial: Cut up small amounts of avocado, oatmeal, honey and milk and then mix them in a blender. Apply to your face, and then place cucumber slices on your eyes. Sit back and relax for 15 minutes while letting it dry. Rinse off with warm water.
4. Skin Masks: Mix two tablespoons of honey with two tablespoons of plain yogurt. Leave it on and let dry for around 20 minutes. Rinse off with warm water.
No steak with this meal-all you'll need is two tablespoons of sour cream, mixed with a grated raw potato. Leave on for 15 minutes and then rinse off with warm water.
5. Skin Moisturizer: For normal skin-take 1 cup of yogurt, 1 tablespoon of orange juice and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice and mix into a paste. Apply on and let stand for 15 minutes, and wipe off with a wet tissue. For dry skin-use a mixture of cooked oatmeal and honey and apply to your face. Leave on for 10 minutes and wipe off with a wet wash cloth. For oily skin-cut beet root into small pieces and grind them. Squeeze juice from beet root and massage to your face for 5 minutes. Rinse off with warm water.
