Okay, I've had the SAME regimine for THREE months in hopes that I would see some improvement via my dedication..wrong!

Here's the regimine:

AM

Cetaphil

Neosporin on Blemishes

Neutrogena Dry Touch Sunblock

Himani Gold

PM

Cetaphil

ACV/Water toner

Neosporin on Blemishes

Himani Gold

Twice a week I use the Neutrogena Acne Mark Fading Peel.

The problems:

The dark marks are NOT fading. Thanks to the Neutrogena I rarely get BAD new ones, but the old ones are NOT better at ALL.

I still break out a little. Mostly on my chin which was never a problem before. I've started to get these painful, tiny bumps that don't have any REAL gunk in them..just some clear liquid stuff..but they take forever to go away!

The solutions:

IDK! Please help :whistling:

Oh..I am African American

I had great results using Braggs' apple cider vinegar to make the ACV toner. I would also recommend you use Retin-A or Retin-A-Micro, or an OTC retinol like Green Cream. What SPF are you using? I've heard the Neutrogena Dry Touch SPF 30 is not good/stable. Get the SPF 55.

I am not sure the Neosporin is really good for blemishes. It really clogs pores.

REALLY?! I was under the impression that the cream didn't clot pores, but the older stuff, that's like the consistency of vaseline does! It's the only thing I've found that stops scarring ;(

I use vaseline almost everyday. I have oily skin, but I get these really dry patches around pimples...I suppose from acne medication. It probably does clog my pores, but foundation looks terrible on dry, flaky skin!

How about trying a kit? That would be easier, and they work together to balance and restore your skin. hehe i'm a sucker for kits.. :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

ok, im african american with oily sensitive acne prone skin. Ive used so many systems- clinique, proactiv, aveeno, some shiseido,blah,blah,blah.... My mom started selling mary kay after a five year break, and they had newer, better products- not that old lady junk like before. my mom gave me a set, used me as a walking experiment. and to my surprise..... THIS STUFF WORKS!!!:clap :clap i took this stuff on a week long trip , and the first time i saw my b/f since i started the program, he thought i had on makeup, when i didnt!!!:clap (standing ovation):clap we barely even go to the dermatologist anymore. www.marykay.com/jflowers - get the 3in 1 cleanser and age fighting moisturizer just for a trial- i promise youll see a difference in 24 hours! click this link for a free microdermabrasion kit sample by them( which I also use). www.marykay.com/adsample/sorry.aspx?contentredirectsid=235

Whether it's the cream or ointment..it still has a lot of emollients in it..that can really clog pores...but it does help scarring...guess it's a double edged sword...When you talked about the little red bumps showing up..it just made me think of pores when they are aggravated.

You are so right... this is great skin care... the set you are talking about is the miracle set. I would also recommend the microdermabrasion. It's a little spendy to buy both ($154), but they will last you a couple of months. If you are faithful with using them every morning and nite (except the microderm which you would want to use only 2x a week) you will definately see results. They come in 2 formulas, normal to dry skin & combination/oil skin. Hope this helps!!

You sound like you could use some thermal fusion masque. I love it. If it was not for it, after my hormones went crazy I was left all scared up. I use it and it cleans, firms and gives my skin a whole new appearance. It is unexplainable but you use it 45 min before bed only, and is one application and you can see results.

IDK why this is so hard for me :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I'm trying to register, but I come to a page where it asks me to check my city, state, county, zip and then click "continue" Well the "continue" button is inactive. Whenever I click it, nothing happens :( /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Do I have to open the page in internet explorer?

Hey, I think I figured it out...make sure you click yes in the box at the bottom of the page. Tell me if that is it.
