I'm looking for a really good cleanser, toner (has to be very gentle) and moisturiser (with added sun cream) for sensitive teenage skin.

I've been using Aveeno's Clear Complexion cleanser, and I think I like it! But it's too early to tell if it's doing anything. Also, check out products from Olay and Dove. I've switched lines, I've found Neutrogena to be too harsh on my skin.

Cleanser: Cetaphil (very gentle, but does the job)

Toner: ACV (Apple Cider Vinegar) dilluted 50/50 w/water. (I like Bragg's Organic ACV, found in health stores)

Moisturizer : I like Olay Complete Defense Daily UV Moisturizer SPF 30 for Sensitive Skin

the only neutrogena cleanser i can put on my face without it being burned is the visibly clear 2 in 1, containing kaolin.

Is your skin oily too? I'm not sure what you mean by teenage skin. I second the Cetaphil recommendation. If you're not too oily, the Nivea moisturizing toner might be a good choice. I don't know about SPF moisturizers for sensitive skin, but I know my best friend uses the Cetaphil moisturizer w/SPF and she really likes it, although I don't know if she's sensitive or not.

This isn't specifically for sensitive skin, but of all the drugstore salicylic acid cleansers, I found that Biore warming cleanser is the best and the gentlest on my skin. Neutrogena, Clean and Clear, Clearasil, etc, are all way too harsh. As for toners, you probably don't need one. It's just extra alcohol added to your face. One of the moisturizers I use is Dove Essential Nutrients Day Lotion with SPF 15, and it works well for me.

I'm going to ditto on Aveeno and Cetaphil because I hear so many great things about them, even though I've never tried either.

I haven't tried aveeno or cetaphil so I think I'll give them both a go! At the moment I only use cold water as toner so I'll probably will keep with that and Olay Complete Defense Daily UV Moisturizer SPF 30 for Sensitive Skin. Thanks for the great advice guys ;) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Cetaphil cleanser

Olay moisturizer with spf

For a toner, mix Witch Hazel with water 50/50 or peroxied and water 50/50.

I'm not sold on the idea that toner is necessary. If you are going to add a third element, I think exfoliating 1-2 times week is better for your skin.

I use Aveeno's Clear Complexion, too, and so far so good. I have sensitive skin, too. Cetaphil is also a great one that I used to use, but my skin a little oily from it.

This comes directly from Cetaphil:

To exfoliate, mix a tsp of baking soda and a enough Cetaphil to make a runny paste.

Rub this paste on you face with your hands, covering all of your face.

Rince well with water to remove al the baking soda and cleanser.

Do this 1-2 times weekly.

This is a very inexpensive way to exfoliate, is very gentle on your skin, won't cause rash/reaction/breakouts and is very effective.
