Does it matter what type of foundation you use for your skin, because I had some stuff that said it wouldn't clog pores (liquid foundation) it was okay, but it doesn't have a lot of coverage.

I bought other new stuff called "Clean Makeup" by CoverGirl, it has pretty nice coverage but I just had a skin breakout around the corner of my mouth and nose from it...

I was thinking about using the Mineral makeup everyone seems to be talking about, but its getting pretty hot here and sweating... etc. so I don't know if it would last through the day, and also if it clogs pores?

I would absolutely love to, one day to not have to wear and worry about foundation!!!

I can't stand mineral makeup! It clogged the my pores like crazy! Also, it looked very cakey going on. I think the whole mineral makeup fad is a bunch of hooey! I live in Florida, and a thick powder wasn't ideal in this humidity and heat. But that's my opinion and experience. Other's have wonderful experiences with it. My skin is combination and sensitive and fairly acne prone. I prefer liquids made for sensitive skin like Prescriptives or Lorac. (I used the clean makeup you mentioned above and too broke out from it) And followed with Mac's blot powder.

If you still would like to try mineral makeup, be sure to avoid the ones with cornstarch or other starches. They are pore cloggin haven! Why feed your zits?

Hope this helps

I use Almay Clear Complextion - I always get complements on how well it covers and it has never seemed to clog my pores - my face is even more clear than before I used itl.

I would recommend it.

I like Almay too. It has some salicylic acid in it which I guess it what keeps breakouts at bay. Regardless, I still need to watch my diet and all that jazz. Mineral makeup has never completely impressed me..tho..I do like Aromaleigh..I just hate having to order online all the time.

i haven't tried mineral makeup yet, that's why i was suprised to hear about littlerumor's experience. mm has become almost a makeup evolution *lol* you may decide to try it, just make sure you get one without talc, because that defeats the purpose of mineral. if having enough coverage is an issue, you might want to think about this because friends have told me they went back to liquid b/c they didn't get enough coverage from mineral..what about a tinted moisturizer for summer? that's what i've been using. it's lightweight and i feel like my skin can breathe, but i still get some coverage. if i can wear it, i know you can b/c i hate my skin and i have to have my coverage!

my favorite liquids are almay and nuetrogena skinclearing foundation..both are great.

They are owned by estee lauder and you can find it in department stores. Both are made for sensitive skin
