i found a bottle of this in my drawer the other day & i was just tryin to remember why i got it..lol...isnt it good for acne scars/marks?

Lol! Yes, i think it's for stretch marks. You can also use camelia oil on your face and hair.

Oooh. Like a hidden treasure! That stuff is not cheap. I found this site. Here's what it says that product does. Its just camellia oil so you can use it on hair and skin. You can mix it with other oils like jojoba oil as a good moisturizing oil for your body or face. Rub some in your hair at night and wash it out in the morning. I have added some to a cream I made. You can also pour some into your store bought creams and lotions or your hair conditioner as well.

Why Silkia camellia oil is better for your skin

What it does

Silkia® camellia oil works wonders on your skin in the following ways:

Moisturize - it penetrates quickly and deeply, giving your skin optimum hydration without a greasy feel. Your skin will feel remarkably refreshed, smooth and firm.

Replenish - it increases skin resilience, giving your skin a supple and radiant glow you can see and feel. It endows your skin with a luminous silkiness that no other product can match today.

Restore - it eliminates or visibly diminishes fine lines and pitted acne scarring, and reduces the appearance of pores.

Protect - it contains Vitamins A, B, C, E and Polyphenol, natural antioxidants that safeguard your skin from the damaging effects of UV/environmental exposure and free radicals.

It offers similar benefits for hair. It adds shine, softness and smoothness to your hair.

It prevents stretch marks such as those acquired during pregnancy. It helps diminish or completely eliminate stretch marks.

How to use it

For face:

After cleansing, apply 3-4 drops of Silkia® camellia oil to face and throat every morning and night. Can be used around the eyes to diminish puffiness, dark circles and fine lines. Massage gently and thoroughly until completely absorbed. Use alone or follow with a sunscreen as desired.

For hair:

After shampooing (when the hair is still wet), apply 3-4 drops to hair and scalp. Then wrap your hair in a hot towel for 20 minutes or 30 minutes for long hair. No need to rinse it off.

For stretch marks:

Apply to affected area twice a day. Massage in circular motion until completely absorbed.

Really? I've never actually smelled it. Most oils don't smell. I have a small bottle of it...I must check it out when I find it. Thx.

oooo!! i may have to try this for stretch marks!! when i use up the supply of body moisturizers i have...!!

I LOOOOVE camelia oil (also called tsubaki in Japan). It works wonders on your hair, but if your hair is already oily, use it sparingly and never on the roots.

I love it but it's so rich i wouldn't use it everyday, or it may build up on your roots.

Yup, I have it. Not a fan though; it is definitely too rich. Now I use Kanebo Kracie Naive Shampoo (Peach with Rosehip oil scent). Much better and it's totally eliminated my dandruff.

If anyone wants my Shi Tsubaki stuff drop me a PM. :p /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />
