this is just a quickie question ... does anyone know how to stop my side swept fringe from getting soo greasy? it needs washing before the rest of my hair.

I'm guessing the main reason is because I touch it and it's touching my skin which is oily, but I can't see any way to stop this from happening.

I sort of have the same issue. I don't know. I try to keep that part of my forehead blotted throughout the day. At work I'm always patting my forehead with a tissue.

Oh, I know what you mean.

You could try carrying around those oil blotting pads/sheets they have in the facial wash aisle.

This may sound weird but you know those toilet seat covers they have in public restrooms? They work just like the blotting sheets, because of the tissue material which absorbs oil. (Plus it's convenient!)

Misha Barton does this. lol. But yeah, I'm pretty sure I heard this from watching Tyra's talk show.

i have the same problem, and i always blot my face w/ toilet seat covers also,i sprinkle lil' bit of baby powder on my bangs , that kinda help.

I guess I'll try that.. its sooo irritating, I'm just wearing the fringe up for now. Grr, lol!

In the new Marie Claire in the "25 Products That Changed Our Lives" they recommend a powder to soak up oil (shampoo minus the need for water) by Bumble and Bumble just called "Hair Powder". Although it is $34, which I find a bit ridiculous. I have wanted to try one of these type products. Maybe a different brand makes a cheaper alternative.

Btw: I have the same bang issue! ;) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

If you have a minute, dab some corn starch only in your bangs and brush it out. do NOT get it on your scalp though.

I remember some days staying at my ex-boyfriends house and he didnt have warm water (haha) So i used to brush baby powder in my hair where it looked greasy and it did the trick for me.
