I didn't realize just HOW bad my dark circles were on some days until I saw a picture of myself taken in FULL SUN!! In fact, it's the one I now have as my avatar. If you blow that up bigger, you can REALLY see those circles....AARRGGHH!

I'm blessed with no wrinkles (yet!), have good skin (with consistent WORK), eat like a 'health nut', take a handful of vitamins every day, workout 3 times a week to keep in shape, and here I see these horrible dark circles! :icon_cry: NOW that's ALL I can see.

I've been searching here and on the Internet for suggestions. I've gotten tea bags, grated potatoes (raw), etc., and all kinds of and products... from Almay Extra Moisturizing Under Eye Cover Cream for only $5.29(GREAT reviews) to the one I'm THINKING of getting......Eycon by Benefit for $26 (that's a lot for ME). But, I'm almost (ALMOST......that you can't get blood from a turnip thing) ready to pay anything to get rid of these things. But, I'm NOT buying ANYTHING until I hear from you guys!

NO......I don't get a lot of sleep, but my internal clock is 'messed up' I guess......I never sleep more than 4 or 5 hours and am WIDE awake. I've been up now since 3:30 (yes....a.m.:icon_neut)......went to bed at 10 p.m.

SO......can ANYONE help me out there???:icon_eek:

I was wondering how Eyecon is...I have semi or mildy dark circles....and was wondering if it really works.

I haven't bought it yet....so I don't know myself. I was waiting for some of the girls here to tell me before I bought some. I have SO much stuff now that didn't work or wasn't right for ME......hair stuff, makeup, etc. I think I could have a yard sale with JUST beauty products!

i used chamille oil with grapeseed oil, and after a month i started to see mine diminish. i think i paid about $6.00 for it and it last forever. you could add a couple drops of licorice oil, lemon extract etc.. to see what works for you, but it takes time usually two weeks to 30 days before you see a difference then you could move on to a new mixture if you are not pleased with the results,

i have not heard of any magic bullet for this problem i think it is mixture of getting them under control and makeup. dermablend and jane iredale are the two makeups i have heard of that are good at covering up dark circles but they are pricey.

i guess the first thing i would do is find out why the are dark, could be thin skin, broken vessels etc.. then you will know which way to go.

:icon_eek: omg i THOUGHT i WAS THE only ONE!!! I have a closet full myself!!! I hear there are some places online that you can sell partially used products (NOT like mascara or anything that would have bacteria but a whole lot of other things) and I am thinking Gosh I could probably have a nice little bit of savings if I could sell some of this! Oh Dear!!! Do you think we have a problem??? OK like I don't already know... Anyway, I hope someone has used the eyecon so we can know if it works...I know, another thing to buy!!!!:icon_roll AAAHHHHHH!!!I feel so pitiful! :icon_cry: I am going to have to go incognito!!!Chermarie

i just recently bought Eyecon and it seems to work and i have heridtitary dark circles. no eye creamis just a quick fix though give them some time.

OH......what a great idea!! Now all I have to do is figure out HOW to do that....how to price, ship, sort my stuff all out, etc. I have lots of things I've only tried once (i.e.: Big Sexy Hair) and would be a good deal for someone. Is there a place to read "How To" for that? I've never sold or traded on the internet before......just bought some things at eBay.

OH....your post made me LOL!! Yes, Truthseeker, I DO believe we have a problem....but there are MUCH worse problems to have. At least we look GOOD with our problem.:icon_chee Like you, I have LOTS of stuff I could sell too.....in fact, TWO whole shelves full. NOW who has the worse problem I wonder....hmmmm. BUT....here is something else for you to buy (OH NO!) I just did a frantic search for something with Chamomile and grapeseed like TS posted about and I FOUND it at drugstore.com. It has a FIVE-star rating and is only $13.99 for a 2 oz jar. It's "Beauty Without Cruelty Maximum Moisture Cream". I'm getting two for the FREE shipping (over $25). I sure hope I don't have to add THIS to my shelves.......but it sounds like pretty good stuff from the reviews AND it's MUCH cheaper than the Eyecon. So don't feel so 'pitiful'......I'm right up there with you in that arena!!:icon_roll

Thanks for the good info. Read the note I just posted to "Truthseeker" (Chermarie) for the product I found with grapeseed and Chamomile in it. I sure hope it works for ME. My problem is probably both thin skin and broken vessels, but mostly not much sleep. I never sleep more than 4 or 5 hours. My internal clock is messed up. :icon_cry: I'm going to ask my doctor about it.

I use the Lancome Primordiale eye cream. It hasn't made my pands eyes disappear, but it's helped to lighten them a lot. Before I used it, I used to look like a racoon -.- but now the circles are not very noticible.

Hey everyone, I'm new here, so I hope I'm not crossing any advertising lines, but Arbonne has a great eye cream. It is pricey, $44 a bottle retail, but it is concentrated and works well. I have dark circles from bad sinuses, and it has reduced the color. Since it's anti-aging, it also works on puffiness and crow's feet.

something to cover it up temporarily I heard a yellow concealer helps to cover it up better than others.
