I went and got my hair shorter and there are lots of little layers all over. What is the best way to fix it with out having to use curling iron. Like for separtion, volume texture etc. I want it to look like I did something with it, but not too uniform. I thought of getting the new short sexy hair shatter, Has anyone used this, I think for separation, but what else should I use on it to hold it I guess without stiffness. I have never had hair like this before, I really like it, but don't know what to do with it he he

lol, I felt the same way when I had my hair short a year or two ago... except I looked like a boy with my square face so I am growing out now

I do miss the feeling of the wind blowing on my bare neck though!

Anyways, I don't know what your hair type is, but my hair is naturally wavy so it already had a lot of body and texture. I usually just blowdried it and used a round brush to straighten the too-curly sections and to make the ends flip out. Then I just used a flexible hold hairspray to keep it in place without being too crunchy! (I like Herbal Essence flexible hold hairspray because it doesn't have that chemical scent like most hairsprays!)

But I'm sure there's a lot of different things you can do with it, so just experiment and have fun!

And I'm sure some other girls will stop by to offer more suggestions -- if nothing else Janelle (NYAngel98) normally posts in all the hair threads!

When my hair was shorter, I always used a volumizer, then when I blow dryed I would mostly use my fingers to dry it no brushes. Then, I used Sebastion molding mudd, or TiGi rubber rage wax, rub some in the palm of my hands and take smaller sections of hair and make it all piecy kind of like Meg Ryans hair but shorter. It always looked good!

Def use a volumizer. I love Short Sexy products but have not heard of splatter before. Sounds interesting. I really like the pomade in the line(white)

I used Bed Head Manipulator when me hair was really short. I wore it very messy at that time, but if I needed it to calm down I could calm it down. This stuff is great, it doesn't get hard or anything. Adds seperation and volume at the same time. The stuff is like 17 bucks but you only use a little at a time. My jar lasted me about 3 months.

The ShortSexy is good... you can also use the BigSexy blow dry volumizing gel and a great hairspray I love is Enviro54 by Farouk's Hair Toys. It lifts and holds without any stiffness
