Hey all! I was wondering what your thoughts were on the Shiseido skincare line. I've been eying it for a while, and I've heard good things about it. I have very very oily skin, so are there things there that would suit my skin type? Any experiences with Shiseido or what you've heard, that would be much appreciated! Thanks!

get the Pureness line from them, its for oily/acne prone skin.

i just started using the line about a month ago, oh my god! i barely break out anymore! and it doesnt dry your face out (the toner is alcohol-free)!

i cant believe i went this long without it (i used to be a die hard clinique fan, but not after using this stuff)!!!!!!!!

theyre makeup is pretty good too.

The other day I was at a friend's house when some cosmetic bottles caught my eye in her bathroom. I noticed she was using the Shiesiedo Skincare Line and asked her what she thought of it. She loves it. I tried a drop on my skin. Divine!

I've used their facial cleansing water, and I really liked that, but I havent used any of their other products. Let us know if you do buy them!

Sweet! I looked on Sephora.com Which ones do you use? I saw the Pureness Deep Cleansing Foam, Refreshing Cleansing Water, and Foaming Cleansing Fluid.
$20 a pop isn't as bad as I thought it would be, but I feel my wallet burning. I need to find a job... LOL

Thanks for the responses!

i asked what was the difference between the 3 of them when i went to buy it...

the refreshing cleansing water is like a spray toner apprently (the toner i use from the line is the Balancing Softner Alcohol-Free).

the deep cleansing foam is for people who are really oily and have serious breakouts.

the foaming cleansing fluid (the one i use) is for combo-oily skin and break out occationally.

when i first went to switch/try them out i was scared of the price, but $20 isnt bad and you really dont need a whole lot either. so it lasts a long while. and i know nordstroms, sephora, and macys have great return policies (you can use like half the bottle and if you hate it return if for your money back).

Aahhh thanks so much! That really helped. I don't break out that often, but I have super-oily skin, so I guess I'll be going with the deep-cleansing foam.

It's off to the piggy bank for me! =D

I find that the hydro refining softener lotion helps keep skin smooth without making it feel greasy, it's more of a gel than a cream so it's fantastic during the hotter months on my combo/oily/pimple prone skin. HTH!
