But I think the UV white is mainly to protect/repair skin from sun damage, I'm not sure though because I don't use any of the products nor any whitening products here in Japan.

Hi ee Leony!

You're living in japan and can speak so many languages, i'm jeolous, lucky you.

I was also living there for half a year as an exchange student, it was fantastic!

..Back to the skincare, Yea I heard that the White Lucent brightens the skin and the other for sun damage.

How about Lancome Blanc Expert? Anyone here tried yet'?

Hello and Welcome.:icon_bigg

UV white is going to protect the skin, while it "whitens" the skin, and the white lucent is serum, that you put on the spots where you want to lighten. This is just a claim that they are making, since, a cream cannot penetrate and make those kind of change sin the skin, as making it more lighter, this is one of the reasons, why antiwrinkle creams don't work, since it cannot enter the level of the epidermis to change the actions that's going on. The best you can do is to use SPF and take care of you skin, to give it a glow by drinking water, and eating right. The changes have to come from inside the body, one cannot effect it from the outside, other that to protect it with a layer of SPF. Good luck...

thanks gals for the info.

...the lancome blanc expert, i have only tried the blanc expert white cleanser and i really liked it. It really made my face look clearer and just a little bit lighter!

i think it's like everyone else has said. i use garnier whitening moisturizer and spot treater, and i've noticed a real difference. my freckles r so much lighter, and i've gotten lots of complements on my skin lately.

I've only used the UV White ...

I have a lot of redness in my skin and it really seemed to help clear that up, as well as my acne. I don't think it "whitened" my skin, but I do think it helped repair it a little bit.
