What is the difference in shea butter and raw shea butter? What is this used for exactly??? Where can I get raw shea butter???

Here is what I found out...

Unrefined versus refined

There are inexpensive ways to process shea butter. Refined shea butter is produced through solvent extraction which removes most of the vitamins, rejuvenating, healing and antiseptic properties of raw shea butter. Many companies use hexane to extract shea butter from the shea nuts because it produces a larger amount of butter at a cheaper price. Along with the serious health risks posed from using hexane-extracted shea butter, much of the natural healing benefitsof shea butter are lost in the process. Hexane is not used in the extraction of our shea butter.
