Serious Skin Care or Wei East

I have never used Wei East products (although I have seen the shows on HSN).
I have used some SSC products though. I have combo/acneic skin. I tried many different aspects of their different lines. I like the A-cleanser...very gentle and non-drying. The glycolic cleanser is very popular. It worked for me for a few years and then my skin became really sensitve. I cannot use it now because it burns my skin. The reviews are very good. Most people like it.
I also tried Vitamin A line (serum, moisturizer, a-eye). Again, I used them for a few years with good results but then my skin became sensitive and could not use it.
The glyco youth line I liked alot. Great results, not harsh on my skin.
I just ordered the combo/oily skin care kit (a-copper serum, moisturizer, unplugged). I used that before and liked it. I tend to be oily in the t-zone but mostly 8 months or so out of the year. I don't use it in the winter.
I haven't used the olive oil because my skin is dry in places but not overly dry. My mom has used the serum and moisturizer for olive oil and really likes it alot. She has dry skin.
I would say overall, they have great products. I think you have some trial/error. Also, check the ingredients. I've checked products in their line that had harsh ingredients while others were very gentle.
Good luck. By the way, Ulta sells some of their products at their stores. You could sample some there. However, their selection is limited. For example, they do not have the comb/oily line that I just ordered from HSN.
