ETA :  Oh well - I am Rouge anyway so I'll just place multiple orders and hopefully not get banned. And if I do, oh well. Hello Ulta! and more money in my wallet. Anyone place an order without the $50 minimum?

oh no! I had a gift card I'd been saving to use with this. That's so dumb. I paid for the extra gift card myself, they already HAVE my money.

I paid $6 out of pocket on this years purchase, and I only paid shipping on last years purchase.  Many others have placed orders below the minimum this year and they have shipped without any problem.  I want to tell you this is not a ban-able offense, but with Sephora lately who knows!!

Someone just asked about using multiple GCs on the site and they gave this response:

Sephora Hi Melissa, please give us a call at 1-877-SEPHORA when you are ready to place your order so that we can combine those gift cards for you .

I'm not sure how useful that's going to be in the rush of everyone trying to grab their palette at once though. Especially if they release it at midnight.

I just used up my last gift card from my birthday a week or 2 ago, I'm glad I did or I'd definitely be annoyed, because it's really hard to hold on to a gift card when there's so much pretty stuff to be bought lol! It still doesn't make any sense to not allow a gift card though.

I'm not a rouge so I can't answer as to you but I refuse to be afraid to place orders. I'm giving them money. They can cancel my order if they choose to and I'll think about placing a $50 but I've spent so much this year being banned would probably be a good thing. I'm not going to tiptoe around it though because I refuse to be bullied into what they think my buying habits should be.

wow well that sucks! I really wanted to use my other gift card. Gonna have to rethink what I'm getting now. Thank you for the clarification!

Maybe you could split your order up if it isn't a single item? It looks like there's no $50 limit online although that's probably just another one of their many programming glitches that they'll try and blame on the customer instead.

im 99% positive you can still pay with a regular gift card, guys. technically your $20 doesn't come off as a payment, it comes off before your bill is totaled. so if you have a REAL gift card you want to use with it, thats fine. i think what they mean when they say can't be combined with any other GCs, is if maybe your mom has a beauty insider card and doesn't want to use her coupon? yeah, then you can't use both of those "GCs", but you can PAY with a real gift card. does that make sense?

I do have a real, physical gift card. But after I put in the $20 email one, I cannot add any more. I remember when I ordered using two gift cards before there is a little plus sign that you can click on to add another gift card but now there isn't so I couldn't add my other gift card at all. Have you tried entering your real physical one first and then see if the little plus sign pops up after that one and then use the promo gc second?

Guess I'll have to call. No card/email at all- but I get all the promo emails- this usually isn't a problem. :/ First world problem- but I really hate calling people, because a) I currently have crappy reception in my house and have to go outside- normally not a problem but there's easily a foot of snow outside and growing. And B) my kid doesn't allow me much time/quiet for calls. I'll have to do it when she's asleep...if she'll take a nap that is.

No kidding! I spend $$ at Sephora and if they ban me for using the benefits they provided then be my guest. I will happily take my money to any of the many other retailers.

I think if your willing to charge the amounts Sephora and the makeup companies do then by all means give a few samples! We all know the profit margin on these items is though the roof...
