Dr. Perricone has come out with yet another (in my opinion) gimmicky, overpriced product. Though I think his general diet tips seem sensible, I am not wealthy enough to try his whole line of products, and if I were, I still think I would save my money anyways.

Here is his latest - advertised as an "anti-aging aromatic":

NV068.jpg

Synergy is the FIRST aromatic that contains the combination of neuropeptides that enhance the efficacy of human pheromones.

Pheromones are chemical messengers that communicate from person to person, through an imperceptible odor, eliciting positive behavioral changes.

The synergistic combination of these two messenger systems has been incorporated into an innovative aromatic that offers unique benefits far and above their effects when used individually. This allows them to carry their various messages to the different parts of the brain affecting areas related to our sense of well-being, enhanced thinking, and emotional attraction.

Just some of the benefits users report include:

  • Increased sense of well being
  • Elevated mood
  • Increased self-confidence
  • Increased feeling of relaxation
  • Increased attractiveness to the opposite sex
Ingredients:Aqua (Water), Alcohol Denat., Pentylene Glycol, Parfum (Fragrance), Polysorbate 20, Cinnamal, Natural Pheromone, Oligopeptide-17 (Neuropeptide), Coumarin, Eugenol

Oh...and it costs 250 dollars for .85 oz!!! :vogel: Hmm...I think I'll stick with my therapy sessions. What do you guys think...would you consider buying it? If it didn't cost so much money, I would definately be interested! Anyone tried any of this pheremone stuff and notice any difference...perhaps a less pricey variety??

yeah...lavender oil is a natural anti-depressant//anti-anxiety/anti-fatigue oil that also relaxes you and helps you sleep. i put a few drops on my brush and brush my hair....it really does work. claims to do everything this thing does except attract the opposite sex! :smilehappyyes:

we had a training with the perricone rep when we got this in and we put it on. my coworkers and i looked at each other like, oh, wow, this works... ? :sleepyhead:

grapefruit essential oil is reported to make women more attractive to the opposite sex - I'm totally serious here, apparently the scent of grapefruit revs up a man's feelings aboutcha...sooo how about a fragrance with lavender and grapefruit essential oil? I'm sure it'd have similar effects! cha-ching anyone?! actually why not cha-ching myself, lol...i love e.oils anywayz...

wow...yeah, that's a great idea actually! i love the newer type scents with grapefruit notes. they really do make me anyways feel more attractive! actually...youthful and happy too...funny i never put two and two together.

hmmm...i want to go get some grapefruit oil now. i have lavender oil and use it regularly. i wear it discreetly throughout the day because it helps me with anxiety. i want to get into more e.o...maybe that one will be the next one i'll try. i'm in a longterm relationship, but still getting my degree at 26. hey...maybe i can attract a few young college boys with the power of grapefuit oil! stranger things have happened!
