So I really want to buy a Sedu Revolution Nano Ceramic Tourmaline Hair Styler, but I can't find a styler with plates that are wider than 1 inch. I have very thick, long wavy/curly hair and I really need one that has larger plates. I want to buy a professional hair iron that's universal enough to straighten wet-to-dry, and create waves and curls.

I choose a Sedu since I was caught between a Chi and a Sedu, and have heard better things about the Sedu. I also choose this one in general since it's Ceramic Tourmaline and claims to do all of the things i'm looking for, but I just can't seem to find a model with a larger sized plate!

Anyone know if this is the only plate size they make?

I use a Rusk Flat Iron with 2 inch plates - I have had it for a three years now and I have no complaints. i never tried it "wet to dry" so I can't vouch for that.

Did you check folica.com? My Sedu is 1 1/2 in, but it's the ionic one.

I guess the styling Iron can do everything in supposively half the time. No clue if the claims are true. Looks like the styling iron only has one plate size: 1 inch.

Anyone know, if I buy a Sedu flat iron on Ebay or Amazon, will the warranty be void?
