I got offered one a while ago but didn't try it until recently. It's the softest thing ever !
I searched a bit about what is a natural sponge, and it's an animal (yes !) that grows in the sea. What we use is the squeleton, after it has been cleaned of course. It can be shaped as well.
I read it's really soft and can be used on sensitive skin, on your face and body, and on children as well as adults. It's been used for ages, as far as Ancient Greece
It's very simple to use too, all you need to do is wet it, squirt some product on it, then wash yourself with it. It also contains a high quantity of iodine, which means it's antibacterial. Then you just rinse it and it dries to its original shape.
What i haven't tried yet is using it to remove my makeup, although it is also a possibility. I have pretty much given up on tools to wash my face with, but i tried it on my face and i got conquered by its softness.
You can also use it in house cleaning and painting, but a true sea sponge can become expensive so i personally would keep it for skincare purposes.
