Scarring

hi all! i just took my labret (under lip) stud out this weekend and i'm worried about it scarring. it was only 2-3 weeks old (just didn't look like i wanted it to). how can i prevent a big ugly pimple looking scar under my lip? any ideas?

i dont think it should scar much since you didnt have it for long (i have my lip pierced for over a year). i'd try mederma or something like that.

i got my nose pierced but took it out after over a year (got infected) and the hole on the side of my nose is barely noticable (need to get it done again).
