I dont want to offend anyone more then the next person however I belive society is just going to far. I just read this story on Yahoo.

In austraila Santas are being told not to say Ho ho ho beacause it could be offenisve to women. I am sorry if this really does offend someone but give me a break.. How far are we going to go here? We are allready told to say Happy holidays instead of merry christmas.. whats next.. when are we going to say enough is enough?

OH Gawd. It never stops.....ever. Give me a break!!!!!!!!!! I'm sick to death of all the politically correct crap. Get a backbone and deal with it.

Not you ;-) the story.

LMAO!!!
You aren't offending anyone, if anything, I am offended at the thought that Santa wont be able to laught! thats his trademark! his signature!

SYDNEY (AFP) — Santas in Australia's largest city have been told not to use Father Christmas's traditional "ho ho ho" greeting because it may be offensive to women, it was reported Thursday.

Sydney's Santa Clauses have instead been instructed to say "ha ha ha" instead, the Daily Telegraph reported.

One disgruntled Santa told the newspaper a recruitment firm warned him not to use "ho ho ho" because it could frighten children and was too close to "ho", a US slang term for prostitute.

"Gimme a break," said Julie Gale, who runs the campaign against sexualising children called Kids Free 2B Kids.

"We are talking about little kids who do not understand that "ho, ho, ho" has any other connotation and nor should they," she told the Telegraph.

"Leave Santa alone."

A local spokesman for the US-based Westaff recruitment firm said it was "misleading" to say the company had banned Santa's traditional greeting and it was being left up to the discretion of the individual Santa himself.

GTFOH! It's Santa! Santa has been saying "Ho" long before the pop stars made it a style. Don't be trying to salt Santa's game y'all!

I am so sick and tired of the politically correct BS i have been hearing lately over Santa. I have heard that people want to call a christmas tree a "holiday tree"...wtf??? You dont have to celebrate christmas if you dont want to. Im in favor of celebrating all holidays and whatever is associated with it!!

Sanata can call me a Ho and anything else he wants as long as he keeps leaving boxes from Tiffanys under the tree like he has the past few years....lmao

I actually just posted this article after hearing the story on the radio. The radio show was taking calls to hear what people thought, and one lady ACTUALLY said "I think it's great, I don't want santa calling my daughter a hoe"

In one of the ad's i saw i think it was Lowe's (I think) They called them family trees, or some BS like that. I'm sick of this crap! My son doesn't get to experience any of the things i did in school, cause you can't celebrate anything anymore. I hate it! They have a winter party, it doesn't even snow here. They suck, You can't do anything anymore.

Employee Christmas Party MEMO

Christmas Party

December 1...To All Employees

I'm happy to inform you that the company Christmas Party will be held

on December 23rd at Luigi's Open Pit Barbecue. There will be lots of

spiked eggnog and a small band will play traditional carols...feel free

to sing-along. And don't be surprised if our CEO shows up dressed as

Santa Claus to light the Christmas tree.

Exchanging gifts among employees can be done at this time. Please

remember to keep gifts to the agreed $10 limit.

Merry Christmas to you and yours,

Patty Lewis, Human Resources Director

------------------------------------------------------------------------

December 2...To All Employees

In no way was yesterday's memo intended to exclude our Jewish

employees. We recognize that Hanukkah is an important holiday and

often coincides with Christmas (although not this year). However, from

now on we're calling this party our Holiday Party. The same policy also

applies to employees who are celebrating Kwanzaa at this time. There

will be no tree or Christmas carols sung.

Happy holidays to you and yours.

Patty Lewis, Human Resources Director

------------------------------------------------------------------------

December 3...To All Employees

Regarding the anonymous note I received from a member of Alcoholics

Anonymous requesting a non-drinking table, I'm happy to accommodate

your request but please remember that if I put a sign on the table that

reads "AA Only" you won't be anonymous any more.

In addition, we'll no longer be having a gift exchange because union

members feel that $10 is too much money.

Patti Lewis, Human Resources Director

------------------------------------------------------------------------

December 7...To All Employees

I have arranged for members of Overeaters Anonymous to sit farthest

away from the dessert table and for pregnant members to sit closest to

the restrooms. Gays are allowed to sit with each other. Lesbians do not

have to sit with gays; each group will have its own table. And, yes,

there will be a flower arrangement for the gay men's table.

Happy now?

Patty Lewis, Human Resources Director

------------------------------------------------------------------------

December 9...To All Employees

People! People! Nothing sinister was intended by wanting our CEO to

play Santa Claus. Even if the anagram for "Santa" does happen to be

"Satan." There is no evil connation to our own little "man in a red

suit."

Patti Lewis, Human Resources Director

------------------------------------------------------------------------

December 10...To All Employees

Vegetarians! I've had it with you people. We're holding this party at

Luigi's Open Pit Barbecue whether you like it or not. You can just sit

at the table farthest from the "Grill of Death" as you call it, and

you'll get salad bar only including hydroponics tomatoes. Tomatoes have

feelings too, you know. They scream when you slice them. I can hear

them now. I hope you have a rotten holiday. Drive drunk and die, you

hear me?

The ***** from Hell

------------------------------------------------------------------------

December 14...To All Employees

I'm sure I speak for all of us in wishing Patty Lewis a speedy recovery

from her stress-related illness. I'll continue to forward your cards to

her at the sanitarium. In the meantime management has decided to cancel

the Holiday Party and give everyone the afternoon of the 23rd off with

full pay.

Terri Bishop, Acting Human Resources Director
