Salon style for Cheap?

I know in San Francisco you can go to Vidal Sasson Thursdays to sign up for Student hair cuts... big savings I think from haircuts dropped down to 16 dollars and coloring for 30 dollars... Naturally I liked the deal so I tried it out...:clap personally I loved how my hair turned out but I noticed there were alot of other people that were unhappy with their hair...

BTW the coloring was done by someone from VS while I think the haircuts were from people at other salons training there...

I dunno if I should try again if it seems like I just lucked out. Anyone tried a "student discount" haircut at a salon? Were you expecting much? Are there any good deals at salons you know of?

A few salons by me used to do this... not sure if they still do. But I know when I was in Cosmetology school - we would have that on Fridays and charge next to nothing for services. You could try them too /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />
