Will rosewater hydrate the face when you use it, or is it drying to the face? I do want to use it instead of normal water, because normal water is to drying. Also if I wont put any makeup on my face, can I use rosewater for cleaning instead of a normal cleanser

Rosewater is often used to tone/soothe and lightly hydrate skin. If ur skin is really dry, it is said that it is not necessary to "cleanse" again in the morning but rather rinse with luke warm water. I don't see any harm in using the rosewater for this. I tried rosewater in the past but unfortunately, I have an allergy. HTH.

What if one has oily skin? Is the rosewater able to cleanse face properly?

Thanks everybody for the responses, they are very helpful!!! I think I will buy it then to try it and see how it works.

i use it as a body spritz after i shower, to set my make up and also spray my hair with it before styling it leaves me feeling fresh and clean and it is not greasy feeling, it also smells great. my hubby likes to cuddle after i have put it on.
