I think it makes your hair puffy at the roots.

I use Big Sexy. I lift my hair and spray it at the roots. I normally just hold mine up to let it dry, but you can blow dry it.

id say go for it, and dont condition your scalp, if u must use conditioner use it only on the ends!

I really love TiGi product called " Superstar Thick Massive Hair" they call it a blow dry lotion, it comes out a bit thicker than water. I put that through my damp hair and every single strand of my hair is thicker, shiny and full of volume.

Love this stuff, I have used it for years! I have used everything and nothing even comes close to what this stuff does to hair!

i cant get through the day without having lots of volume so i LOVE root lifters. actually i think im OCD about them. i tried the tresseme one and it was awesome at first but the one i reallly love is the pantene one. i used it with the volumizing mouse tho so maybe thats why i think it works so much better. i TOTALLY reccomend them tho

put it on your roots and scrunch it in and then blow dry...i like matrix...amplify root lifter

I have never tried a root lifter. Sometimes, I turn my hair upside down and spray at the roots with hair spray. That does help with getting more volume.

Bumble & Bumble Thickening Spray works great.

It's not a hairspray or anything that makes you hair hard. You spray it onto your roots and blowdry.

Anyone can use it! I have medium/thick hair and even I find it gives my hair a boost!
