Alright, so I've been wondering about this and I thought I'd do a small bit of research. My mom told me that she used to cleanse her face with rice water when she was younger (water from washing/soaking rice). So this is what I found from two websites.
I was planning to use rice water as a spritz to apply and set makeup with. So I'll be using it on my face for the day. Do you think it'll be better for my skin than plain water? As I said, I only did some research so I don't know if it will turn white or change my makeup colour during the day or if it will smell if it's on my face for a whole day (heat, sun etc). I am also not sure if keeping the rice water in a spritz bottle for long periods of time will cause it to go bad, it's not extracted from inside the rice, only from the surface of the rice. If you don't know how it looks like (because many of my caucasian friends don't wash their rice) the first wash is a milky white, it's not clear. LAST question /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />, do you think it's okay to use on my makeup brushes if I do wash them once a week (and wipe them on a wet cloth after each application)?
Sorry about the long post.
