Has anyone here had restylane injections? I am curious and thinking about having it done.

Thanks.

I've researched it some because I was interested in having it injected in the trough like area underneath my eyes. Restylane is made of hyaluronic acid which is in alot of facial gels/ serums/ creams/ etc. I started using a hyaluronic serum and saw some plumping but not enough so I gave up. I would still like to have some sort of injections for my eye area and old acne scars. I'm not sure which would be best. I need to schedule an appointment with a plastic surgeon. What are you wanting the injections for?

The lines between my nose and the corners of my mouth and the little lines I have above my upper lip.

No, but my mother has.It made the lines between her nose and mouth("marionette lines") amazingly less deep, for about 4-5 months. She said it "piched a little, a few minutes" while injected and was then slowly massaged in(I don't know why they "massage" it in?)But she said it was a lot less painful than going to the dentist, and worth the 500-600 to her.(She had it done at her usual dermatologist's, didn't go through an advertisement. Maybe that's a little safer overall.
