Redness from acne

I have really fair skin and my forehead has red marks from old acne and i was wondering if anyone found anything that helps get rid of it because other than the occasoinal breakout from my period my skins fine and not having a red forehead anymore would be splendid

I think that eating well is better than what you can put on your face, although it definitely does help.

bio-oil is quite good for reducing marks

Well, the threads are a good place to start, hence Kathy's post, but I have found what helps red marks is Alpha Hydroxy Acid, and time. I am luckily not a person who has red marks that stay very long, so it was never a major issue for me. Bio Oil, sold only in the UK for a while has now come to the United States and THAT is wonderful stuff. Definitely worth it to check out a product with AHA or the Bio Oil.

zinc!!!! in pills to eat one every day or a zinc-cream to spot on the red marks, both make them heal faster.

my daughter's dermatologist recommended (and had samples of) Almay's 'skin calming' lotion, it has really helped for the redness left over from healing acne..plus my daughter has very fair sensitive skin and it has helped with just all over redness too
