Heya,

I've yet to introduce myself - I should probably do that first but I guess I'm going to do things backwards!

Ever since I can remember, I've had redness around my nose (in the corners), I've read about it and have been told it could be due to a number of things, such as, Alcohol, not enough water and other things I forget now. Anyway, it didn't seem to be any of them.

I'm just wondering if there's anything that can get rid of it, or at least calm it down. I can cover it quite easily with make up, but I don't want to just cover the problem I want to try get rid of it - I've tried a few products now and then that suggest it reduces redness but nothing seems to have worked.

Anyone who has had experienced this, and has seemed to have solved or reduced the problem, could you possibly point me at some suggestions of products?

It would be a great help, thanks a lot!

What has your doctor said? It could be any number of things from being a skin condition such as Rosacea to an allergy.

I haven't asked my doctor...Most people say they don't notice it, but I do. I'd feel a little embarrassed going there for something that wasn't serious or hurting me. I don't think it's Rosacea though, isn't that sort of veiny? Mines just red.

Not sure how to get rid of it, but I have a lot of red in my face and green foundations help neutralize that redness.

To calm down the redness around your nose, prepare a mixture of half milk and half ice-cold water and then, dab a cotton ball dipped in the mixture all over the redness of the skin. Moreover, look for a lotion or cream with green tea extracts to reduce the redness.
