Hi all,

I am getting married in 6 months, and I wanted to start a beauty regime - Im really interested in any facials that people can recommend. I heard that dermalogica ones are very good, how about clarins, guinot etc..?

At the moment, I use the Liz Earle products - they're very good, and that combined with Clinique Turnaround and aspirin masks has improved my skin no end! My skin is oily, prone to spots and open pores.

Any recs would be mucho appreciated!! Also any other tips for the lead up to the big day!

i don't know much about facials as each experience i've ever had with it, my skin went nuts! so try to not go so extreme and make sure you don't get it too close to your wedding day as you may have stuff on your face you wouldn't want to have!

thanks pinkbundles! i know, thats why Im giving myself plenty of time to find one that works for me!

I guess Im looking to start a facial regime, ie a facial every month, so hopefully there shouldnt be any chance of something funky happening around that time..

i have something from allure's bridal issue! i'm gonna look for it right now and type it out for you. just give me a few minutes

EDIT: i was able to take a pic of it! it's a little booklet that came along with the bridal issue. if you want me to take pics of it all (there's makeup, hair, brows, etc.), i'd have no problem doing it, but this is the skincare part of it!

hope that helps!

Wow Jennifer, that was really helpful - I hadnt really considered a dermatologist but I guess if ever there was a time - nows it!

Oooo I got excited when I saw that little countdown thing, I'd forgotten about them! I think I need me one of those <goes on prowl for wedding countdown things>

Thanks! I was also wondering about body type stuff, like wraps, think Ill post another about those...

Go Jennifer! Awesome info chica! I've never had a facial, so I can't help there. However, congrats on the upcoming wedding! I hope it's all you ever wanted/dreamed of!

I would recommend going to see a dermatologist. Alot of derm offices now have spas and/or estheticians in them which is convenient.

Ok thanks! And thanks Aquilah...its already everything I ever dreamed of already! <swoon>
