Hi, I am new to the board and am looking for an eye cream. I am in my mid-twenties, so not too worried about wrinkles. However, I do have some fine lines under my eyes I would like to minimize. And, my eye area is SO dry and I have dark circles. I just tried some $50 stuff from the MD Skincare line and my eyes look even drier. My friend even commented on it today. (It's only been a few days, could my eyes get worse before they get better???) So... I need some advice. Don't want to spend over $50.

Thanks!

Beth

Welcome Beth,

Im Laura from Ireland. I know nothing about eye creams so i cant help but just wanted to pop in and say hi!

Im gonna move this thread to the skincare forum, you should get more answers there :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I use Hydra Gel because I don't like the feel of a heavy eye cream. Plus it's not really necessarry at your age and will just clog pores. The Hydra Gel is very light weight but extremely hydrating. Here's a link if you're interested...

Something else i'd like to recommend is emu oil. It feels heavy at first but penetrates quickly. I dab it on, let it set, and apply my concealer. It gives a nice smoothe finish. You can purchase it online or at a local health food store. Make sure it's pure refined emu oil.

BTW, welcome to MUT! I'm Lisa.

SeneGence Eye Creme -- goes on like silk and completely absorbs into skin.

Just wanted to say welcome to the boards!

Origins makes some good eye creams. Check out their line also. :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Beth:

I really like "Teamine Eye Complex" from the Skin Store. Its $55. I am like you, mid twenties with fine lines and dark circles. This cream works on both and NEVER makes my undereye dry. It also has some light reflecting particles so it provides an "instant" though temporary imporvement and works great under concealer. Use it twice a day and use the whole thing. I'm really starting to see a difference in my undereye circles after 6 weeks of use. I saw imporvements in my dryness and fine lines right away. I hope this helps!

hello beth and welcome to mut. i'm monnie from michigan. i'm in the market for a new eye cream myself. have you heard of no puffery by origins? i haven't tried it yet, but i do plan to make it my next skin care purchase. i'll let you know how it works.

I use senegence and sell it , it is amazing. I is less than $50. PM for more info!

I would recommend Teamine Eye Complex. My wife and I both use it. Have been impressed with it so much that I tried there other products and have even paid to sell the products themselves in order to get the extra discount! I would definitely recommend it. You can find it cheaper for like $45 dollars off of Ebay or by searching the web. I would say you can buy it from me pretty cheaply but I would look around and see if you can find it any cheaper. I have seen it for $39.99 a couple of times.

I am hoping that I am not violating the regulations of these forums. I am not trying to promote my product as much as saying that I was such a satisfied customer that I decided to pay to sell it in order to get the deeper discount.

I have a dry undereye area, and at night I use vaseline or camellia/rosehip oil...both work pretty well...

I pat a little bio oil under my eyes at night, and use the dermalogica eye cream with SPF during the day (the one that is kinda orangey).

The eye revive cream I am using cost me over $100. Good moisturising and eye bag reducer/ maintenance. The stuff is enough to last a year at the small amount I am using . Good !
