I bought this because I had an allergic reaction to the regular white Dove Beauty Bar and wanted something without any detergents or fragrance in it.

Even though I got the whole spiel about having to buy the 3 step system because they "work together" I stuck by my guns and just bought the soap.

My skin is almost clear and is bright and fresh, no oily skin either so I think it must've calmed down my oil production as it's not drying my skin out.

I would recommend this if you like bar soap but don't be conned in to buying the whole 3 steps as it's just a marketing ploy. I got a free sample of the clarifying toner and it smells like pain stripper so there's no way I'd be putting that anywhere near my skin lol!

EDIT: paint stripper not pain stripper lol! whoops!

Glad the soap worked for you. My skin is almost clear with this Neutrogena cleanser I bought so I share your enthusiasm.

I guess that is what you Brits call it, Americans call it paint thinner (in case you weren't aware).

I just wanted to distance myself from the Dove original for a few weeks, get my skin back to normal then as soon as this bar is finished go back on to my Dove Sensitive.
My skin is almost back to normal so once I've finished the clinique I'll go back on my Dove sensitive cos it does the same job as the clinique soap IMO and for much less money lol! But don't worry I will be going back to my trust Dove!!

lol i'm still using my dove sensetive bar as well... loving it... but the thing is that it clears up my skin wonderfully BUT since i wear make-up i feel like make-up breaks me out a bit so i plan on changing my make-up products. i was using almay clear complexion with SA(salysic acid) and i think that SA is what is breaking me out... appearantly, SA brings all the bad stuff to the surface. i bought "biotherm forget it" concealer and should be recieving some samples of "everyday minerals" real soon. whoohoo.
