Rash on face

Does anyone else get a rash of some sort from using a face wash and then using a different brand of moisturizer? It always happens to me and I cant rid of it. I thought it was helping but it seems like its not. Am I alone on this? Could anyone recommend something. Going to the dermatologist is my last resort cuz of money issues. Im also thinking that I had an allergic reaction but then again idk. I had it before and went to the doctors and they gave me some stuff to put on it and Ive using that and its not working anymore. Could be the fact that its like 2 years old and expired.

Sorry to say but your best bet is to go to the dermatologist. I am also having issues with my skin too....allergic rashes.

yeah, dermatologist is the best option but if this help, my skin gets really itchy when I use Bath and Body Works body wash, and Olay face wash.

Its probubly an alergic reaction to a specific ingredient in the products your using,

an solution could be to check the list of ingredients, see what they have in common.

it depends what the rash is like, it could be a reaction to any alcohol in the products, especialy if your skin is naturaly on the dry side.

you should see a dermatologist if its ongoing, but with some research online, and a little experimentation, you may be able to find the right washes and moisuteizers for sure....o0o, aand ... try buying a hypoallergetic one, it should probubly do the trick!

If you have an allergic reaction to an ingredient it's better to go to a Derm and find out what it is, then you can find products that don't have that ingredient. I'd also stop using the expired perscription!

Yea the expired part I know but I figured that since it helped before I would try and see if it would work and its not. I told myself that it its not gone by Wed that I was goin to go see the dermatologist. Idk tho. It sucks tho.

I know how you feel... I got a rash on my cheek, bright red!! I thought I could home medicate but it got a little worse the next day so I went to the emergency room and they prescribed an anti-biotic, it went down within the next 3 hours significantly. I have no idea what caused it, I think I was using too many products on my face...

I would def. recommend you go to the doctors. I hope it clears up!

What made you assume that you got the rash because you used a different brand of moisturizer? It could be something else. Go to the derm, let him/her have a good look at your rash...hopefully you'll be able to figure out the cause.

The only time I got a rash on my face was when I was on medication and got too much sun. I hope you find out what product or other issue is causing it... must be distressing!

I use St Ives face wash and I would use a different brand of lotion for my face. Ive gone to the doc bf with it and they said its cuz I mixed them so idk. Its goin away now.
