Now that winter is here I notice my skin is getting drier (time to switch to a heavier moisturizer), but, my ? is this - I really notice allot of peeling/flaking after I use the QH mint mask - any tips on what I can do to help w/this - I love this mask & don't want to stop using it, but, its really drying me out now (didn't have any problems in the summer w/it).

Well, I'd maybe cut back on how often you're using it. If you use it more than once a week, quit using it one or two of those days. If you're using it once a week, try every other week instead. I don't have/use the beloved Queen Helene Mask, but I plan on picking it up the next time I'm in Sally's.

definitely cut back. are you moisturizing right after you rinse it off? apply your heavier mosturizer on as soon as you do to lock in moisture.

Maybe try using a moisturising mask right after while your skin is sqeaky clean?

i agree w/every1 about moisturizing .. hope it helps .. cuz i love this mask too and would hate to stop using it just for winter

I tried this too but this is not too gentle for my skin. I am staying away from it. Regular exfoliation works for me better I think.
