Hi everyone! I picked up a bottle of Pureology Hydrating Shampoo when I was at Ulta on Saturday. I'm just wondering what you guys think about the brand/etc if you've tried it before.
I had my hair done on Friday, and asked my stylist what he recommended shampoo-wise for my hair type. My stylist highly recommended Pureology for my hair type and scalp issues (psoriasis). I trust my stylist's recommendation because they don't even carry Pureology at the shop he works in, so I know he wasn't tying to promote a specific brand just to make money.He told me that one bottle should last me through what I would use on three regular shampoo bottles. (When I went to Ulta, I asked one of their stylists about Pureology and she said she loved it and agreed it should only take a tiny amount to clean my hair.) I used it for the first time yesterday and really liked it! My hair type is long, wavy, thin (but tons of hair), highlighted, tangles easily, and it is and very dry! I decided to only get the shampoo and see how I like that first since it is a bit pricey. (I don't see a point to spending a ton on their conditioners since the moisturizing deep conditioners I use shouldn't strip away my hair color anyways; I was more concerned about finding the right shampoo).
Those of you who have tried Pureology, do you think it's worth the price/hype? Is there another product you like better?
