I didn't know where should I post this so I posted it here!! I have problem with cellulite on my hips, I know many women has! What can I do to decrease the problem???

Dry brushing is great for cellulite. At least it has helped mine. Also avoiding sugary and fatty foods helps. Eating lots of vegetables and fruits and drinking a lot of water is also said to help. Cellulite isn't fat like most people think and it doesn't come from being overweight. Skinny people can have cellulite as well as heavier people can be cellulite free because cellulite becomes from toxins that get build up in the tissue and once the build up is significant it starts to show with the dimpled skin. The only way to get rid of cellulite or to reduce it is by helping the body to release the toxins from the body and that's where dry brushing and drinking lot of water can be very beneficial.

yep i agree with the post above, water and veggies. but if you want them to appear nice temporarily i would rub in fake tan with a great firming cream and massage them, they do appear firmer for that quick tan and nice look.

Reija thanks sooo much for all the tips!! I'll try this dry brushing and try to drink more water since I barely drink 2 glasses per day!! Do I need to exercise more, is it do anything to cellulite?

You can try Tonalin Cla they sell it at wal-mart, but its up to you here's the link to tonalin so you can research it.

I had heard soo much about it, then i took it and i really liked it, but now i've stopped since i got to where i wanted to be. If you do get these pills you just have to make sure that you don't leave them in the heat because they will make you sick. also when you first start taking them your stomach will be gurgling alot then after a few days everything will be o.k.

I work out with a trainer and "foam roll" as well, as you describe. I am seeing improvement, but my case was pretty mild to begin with . . . I wanted to head it off before it got too bad. I truly believe in weight training and yoga/stretching/pilates combined. I work out with a trainer with heavy weights (squats with a 20 lbs dumbell in each hand or 50 lb bar or leg presses with 75 lbs) and have never gotten bulky, just very nicely shaped muscles. After lifting, I foam roll. Then I do a "yogalates" class once a week. I dont know whether there is any scientific data, but I am convinced that weight training and deep stretching is the way to go. Not sure you could ever get rid of all of it, just create a more toned and tight appearance.

i agree melissa - the greatest enemy to cellulite is doing squats and lunges. also, watch you starch consumption (potatos, sugar, bread). drink your water and eat your veggies! not only will your cellulite disappear, but you'll be too hot for words!
