Anyone here tried Proactiv? How did you find it and how long did you use it before you noticed improvment in your skin?

I bought some 3-4 days ago and I havent noticed any difference yet.

i've used proactiv for over a couple years and i love it. i've never really had bad acne but it's kept my face pretty clear for the most part. :]

I used proactiv for about three years. I just stopped using it about a month ago. It was actually drying out my skin and I was getting dry patches...I also found out that I was getting chemical burns and that it "breaks the moisture barrier" on your face. If you're going to start using it, I recommend that you start using it in warmer weather when skin is a bit more oily. Also, it bleached all of my green towels for some reason... Overall, in the summer it seemed to be fine but too harsh for the dry colder weather.

proactiv contains benzoyl peroxide which causes your towels and clothes to bleach if it comes into contact with them.

I loved the toner and mask but that's it. The cleanser and lotion dried my face out within a few days and I only used both once a day and had oily skin.

My daughter uses it religiously and honestly her skin was terrible before she started. She has been using it about a year now and her skin never has blemishes anymore. I can't remember how long it took to clear up but it is the only thing that has ever worked for her.

I've never used it, but my roommate's skin is absolutely gorgeous & she's been using it for 4 months. She never had any bad breakouts, just a few blemishes now & then.

I used proactive for over 1 year, and the results is good about my acne, but my skin becomes dry.

i have been using Proactive for 5 or more years... it works great on my skin... i still have the occasional monthly breakout but it keeps my skin clear most of the time...i have combination skin which can become very dry. I use Prescriptives moisturizer also....

Proactiv was Horrible on my skin when I used it 5 years ago, Used it for the first month things went fine, And then after that my skin was absolutely horrible. Now I am on a simple regime that works out for me.

It dried out my skin horribly, but it did work in the beginning. Eventually your skin builds a tolerance to it and it doesn't work as well.

I used proactive for a year, and honestly, it just made my acne worse. After a few months it looked like my skin was getting better, but it made it feel plasticy and weird.
