I have never dyed my hair. I'm getting ombre hair this weekend(if you think it's tacky,  or too late...or w.e opinion you have about I don't care, you can keep it to yourself ^^). So I'm wondering if I should do anything before hand, like a really moisturizing masque or something, to prevent damage :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> If anyone has tips to prevent hair from getting damaged when dyed, please let me know :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Are you going to a salon? They'll shampoo and do all that for you. At home, I usually deeep condition and use a clarifying shampoo a day before and don't use any products. Then I dye the next day. Good luck! Regardless of current trends, people should rock what they like! Also, try an ammonia free dye, which there's lots of options. Less damaging on your hair. :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

As promised :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> I'm super happy with it, if you know how Khloe Kardashian's ombre looks like, that's kinda how mine does, but not coppery at all! The last picture looks coppery, but it's not, the colors are off on my cam.

Well you were cute as a button to begin with but now you are cute with flair! Looks great hon!

XD awww thank you so much!!! :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> yay! I'm so happy, I keep looking at my hair lol XD It's the first thing I've ever done to my hair, except for cutting it ofc XD (excluding when I was 11 and dropped hair dye on it and ended up looking like a squirrel for the longest time...though I don't think that counts XD)

You look lovely!  I recently dyed my hair with ombre blonde ends too, but it's not as shiny and healthy as yours.  :<

I use L'Oreal Natures Therapy Mega Moisture Nurturing Creme couple times a week after I died my hair, and it really helps a lot.
