I've always been told that there's no real way to shrink your pores, but you can make them less noticeable by keeping them clean and free of debris and dead skin cells by using a scrub and/or pore strips. I have the same problem, and I use a scrub 1-2 a week and then I use a pore strip once a week (when I notice that it's getting bad again) and I've definately noticed an improvement! HTH!

There is no real way to shrink pores as I can tell, but a good primer can help cosmetically, as bluebird mentioned.

i agree a good primer and also try some blush or brozer with some sparkle to it- it seems to cover them well, i have the same promblem and this is what i do ,hope this helps you

I think it helps by absorbing excess oil on the face and exfoliating once or twice per week! Also, avoid washing your face with hot water as it'll enlarge the pores. Even though there are lots of pore minimizing products in the market, I haven't found the one that really works. I've noticed that they are not minimizing the pores, but just preventing them from any further enlargement. It's very dissappointing!

I wouldn't feel bad about your pores, no one would notice them unless they got really close to your face lol. I have really small/fine pores but with that my skin is very reactive and sensitive so you cant win really!

I have heard that the product ''eryderm '' works very good for pores. It is very effective to stop acne and all those kind of skin problems. In Europe its only available when you visit your own doctor. But I think I saw the product somewhere in Ulta ( when I was in the states)

i hane oily skin & you could drive a truck thru my pores!!!! i use a mint Julip clay Mask twice a week. As it dries, i can feel it tingling and my pores are really less noticible. but also keeping your face clean and using a good toner & Primer really helps the apperence.

do you have oily skin b/c if you do that is why you have open pores try somthing that is made for oily skin that will close the pores when pores are open grease can buld up causing comedones to appear.

A couple of things you can do:

To cover it up use a primer. And to get rid of it use a micro dermabraison, or peel!

Also make sure to use a moisturizer that will control the oil so the shine won't exagerate the pore. Many foundations now come with illuminating properties, which can help in evening out the texture of your skin, but you should not use it if you have pimples because this foundation will only exagerate them. A good foundation: Mac hyper real, or revlon skinlights(one squirt mixed with your regural foundation).

hope this helps!

foundation is only going to clog the pores creating blackheads and a whole mess of things, so I would suggest neutrogena made for oily skin b/c ppl with open pores have oily skin. that is how you determine if a person has dry normal or oily skin, and try astringents as well you don't want to build your skin up with to much produt especially if you have open pores

Clinique Pore Perfector does work, for a couple of hours. Seems to smooth out the area with large pores. Apparently over time it strengthens the walls of the pores too, though I havent used it for long enough to tell..

Which Primers would be a good choice for dry/sensitive skin and can I (w/my skin type) use micro dermabraison kit or would it cause my sensitive skin to go crazy - lol.

Clinique Pore Perfector is excellent! You can use it like a primer underneath your foundation too.It really diminishes the appearance of the pores
