Please help me pick out a good male hairstyle

I'm getting my hair done at Regis on Saturday and I want to get a style that makes me look more masculine because due to my long hair a lot of people mistake me as a girl. I'm not exactly sure what would look good on me so that's why I'm asking here. I have a few ideas of what I do like so please check them out and tell me what you think would look the best on me and if you have any of your own ideas please share them. I'm also posting a picture of my natural hair color so you can tell me what you think of it. Should I leave it and my eyebrows their natural color and just get my hair cut & eyebrows groomed or should I do that AND get my hair colored & eyebrows lightened?

So please look at all the photos and tell me which hairstyle, haircolor & eyebrows you think I should get. Also, if you choose a color for me that is much lighter than my natural color please tell me how I should have my eyebrows lightened (like what shade, include a picture if you can)

I'm really hoping that after I get a new hairstyle I'll be more attractive and not so feminine looking.

You are very attractive to begin with and I don't see you as looking too feminine. The hairstyles I liked best were the last two. They're edgy and fun. I really don't know you but do they fit your personality? I don't want to hurt your feelings but if you are the edgy fun guy then go for it. I like the last one the best though.

I also like your current hair color. Things that I didn't think about when I lightened my hair was the cost of upkeep (touch ups, and using quality products). As for brows I liked the first one the best but both are nice.

I like style #5 too......it's cool and would look great messy...use some texturizer....you have beautiful healthy hair and I love your current colour so I wouldn't change it........maybe just the tips to be funky....and then that way there's less maintance like oobladi said!!! show us pics after you cut it!!

btw...I think highlights would look girly...just my opinion!!

thank you everyone very much! style 5 is honestly my favorite but the guy has such a sleek and skinny look which I don't have so It's so hard to imagine it on me, that's why I wanted to ask other people what they thought.

Do you mean sleek and skinny hair or body? Either way I think you can rock that style with the right cut and products.

I dunno, would the hairstylist make it work for me? I really like it but the guy looks so much different than me it's hard to imagine that exact cut on me.
