platinum blonde to mid blonde

Hi im currently dyeing my hair live colour xxl 00b for about a year and now want to go a darker blonde similar to John Frieda natural blonde 8N which is about 2 shades lighter than my natural colour is it possible to go darker? Without going brown?

I am always hesitant to go from lighter blonde to darker myself so I end up heading into the salon. They usually seem to pull off what I am looking for. Some of the other ladies will have more ideas I am sure.

Why were you hesitant? Can it go badly wrong? Did you get your salon to do a block colour or low lights?

Be careful because many times your hair could go much darker than what's on the box, particularly because you are starting with such a light color. I'd either do streaks (low lights), or have the salon do it.
