Hey guys. So I have been working in a retail store for about four years. I have spent about half the day on my knees.. either stocking the shelves, measuring kids feet, or picking up people's trash (because they are terrible people). O:) This has left red marks on my knees that are scars from my skin being worn away. Does anyone have any product suggestions that you have used to fix this? Or at least is anyone in the same position as me? It feels silly to be ashamed of my knees!

My hands used to look like old leathery gloves from working at Lush (constantly sticking my hands in bomb-filled bath water, soaps, cleansers, etc.). About a week after leaving the job, they cleared up.

I also had a sore/dry patch/wound from a nervous habit I had as a kid where I'd rub the side of my thumb/palm along my pants when I was nervous. It would crack, bleed, etc. Now you can't even see it.

My point is this: Skin is incredibly resilient and your skin cells die and regrow at a rate of about once every three months. Keep using a good cream and I am certain they will go away.

Speaking of Lush, though, I'd recommend Lemony Flutter. It's a super concentrated balm/lotion for dry skin and I used to rub it on my hands to great effect. It's not terribly expensive and a little goes a long way.
