What is the most you have paid for perfume. For myself I spent $186 on Flower Bomb by Viktor and Rolf. If you have a picture to post of your collection or your most expensive, please post one.

Same here! I love perfume & like you, Flowerbomb is my most expensive fragrance. I got 150ml (a 50ml refillable bottle + 100ml refill bottle both EDP) for $230AU which was actually a pretty good deal.

My most expensive perfume was one I had custom made for me, oh so many years ago at a now defunct local perfumery.

I've bought my perfumes on ebay for years and years... I've not spend more than $65 and that is for my Miss Dior Cherie.

I want that and I have been testing it out for weeks now... I have not bought it yet, but I do get samples of it from Sephora....

I have Miss Dior Cherie. Love it. It's my "romance" fragrance. I usually keep it for special evenings out with hubby. For me, it's an intimate scent. Mine came with a mini shower gel and body lotion too--PLUS, the killer part of all--a silver Dior evening bag. I've probably used the bag more than the fragrance.

My latest fragrance find was at CVS... it's Playboy's Lovely. I LOVE the scent... it just doesn't stick around long at all. I have to find a way to get it in a DIY fragrance wand to bring with me!

I love fragrances but haven't bought one in so long. I've used Chanel Chance and No5 before and love them both. I also used Dior J'adore before and loved it. Prada is coming out with a new scent in September called Candy. I'm interested in seeing it.

I'm still looking for the perfect scent, a signature scent if you will.

I usually end up buying small versions of perfumes to test them out... so I have a little collection of mini bottles.  The most expensive mini bottle I bought was $35.00, but I cant remember what the scent was.  My most recent buy was a roller vial from Kat Von D, Saint.  So far, its the one I have been using consistently.

However, my men smell wonderful and I average $80 for my S/O's bottle (cant remember the name) and my son loves Geo.

I know - I suck - I need massive does of Ginko lately.  My brain is mush. LOL!

I know my signature scent is YSL Opium, but I also rotate in Estee Lauder Youth Dew, Chanel No. 5 and Chanel No. 19 on the rare occasion.

I think I play it smart.  I just have my hubby buy me perfume and body splashes.  So the most expensive fragrance I purchased was a gift set for hubby and it was $80 for 2 largest sized bottles of David Beckham.  It's my favorite on him!   But every time I purchase a new one for him, it turns into my favorite on him, but still really like the rest.  I have purchased him about 5 different scents in the past 3 yrs and I think that's pretty good to have that many choices for a guy.  He says he doesn't need anymore til he uses up some of what he has.  But I keep buying him new ones b/c I can and b/c I like him to have lots to choose from. lol  I have won 2 baskets of perfume from drawings and then my family and hubby buys me perfumes and body splashes like crazy.  So my collection is far from boring.  My favorite scent right now is DKNY Pure. I love love love the smell!  I really love Ed Hardy's perfume in the pink "Love Kills Slowly" bottle.  I'm on my second bottle of that, and on the 3rd bottle of the shimmery lotion that is of the same scent.  I really like Calvin Klein's Euphoria, too.  Those are my top 3 favs.

I like SOOOOO many different scents, and it's true that they can lose their "oomph" after a while in a big bottle, I'm finding that buying the mini testers.... the kind you get as a gift with a purchase at Macy's.....off Ebay work nice for me. I get a lot of 3 or 5, and wear them. I figure if I use them up?... then buy the big one.

The only fragrance I have ever used completely up and needed another one was "Stella" by Stella McCartney. And that was still just the roller ball!! (Rollerballs are AWESOME!!)

Fragrances will last a long time when stored properly in a dark cool spot.  They will lose the oomph to you if you wear it often.  You sense of smell is the first sense to become 'de-sensitized' to a stimulus.

my fave is DKNY be delicious in green apple. My other faves are CK One and all of the Escada! yummy.

here is all that i've got so far that i need to use up before i buy anything else.

This is my perfume collection, although it has grown since then. I have unboxed everything and put it in a container in a cooler area to maintain the life of it. Then too I got tired of polishing up my bottles....lol I know SO PATHETIC!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow PrettyBrown... that's a beautiful collection!  Have you considered putting them in a glass display case?  That should help with the dusting ( a little).  Plus, you can display and illuminate them in your room! Oooooh! Just the thought makes me want to display my mini's collection!  Something like this from Ikea...

So - I received a sample of Joya from my July Birchbox and I actually really like the scent!  So, I went on the Birchbox website and was utterly disapointed:

"The hand crafted porcelain bottle, complete with an applicator wand dipped in 22 karat gold, is the first indication that JOYA’s Composition No. 1 is a remarkable fragrance. Inside, the perfume oil is a sweet floral with bright citrus top notes and a lingering sandalwood finish. And dabbing on your scent with a gilded wand? Beyond chic."

I know there's a lot to be said about packaging - but somehow I feel like I'm paying more for the porcelain bottle and 22 karat gold applicator than I am for the actual parfume?!

Size: 2.5 fl oz $112.00

I'd rather pick up more sample mini bottles.

GIRLLLLLLLLLL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't start this mind to thinking, cause when I get started I can't stop! lol  I love love the idea.....
