I know some of you out there have done or are starting to do both peels AND microdermabrasion as part of your regime. Especially when you do a 20% or higher peel, how long before that do you discontinue dermabrading? How long after the peel do you do your next dermabrasion?

I want to make sure I'm not assaulting my skin vs making it better.

Thanks for any input,

Kathy

Thanks, Kim, I was hoping you'd pop in with your input.

While I hate cutting way back on the dermabrading (it works sooooo well on those fine and not-so-fine lines!), I want to do peels to even out skin tone. Guess I'll have to survive with a lot fewer dermabrading nights for 5 weeks so the peels can do their thing before I cut back on them. Decisions, decisions, decisions ... what's a girl to do - LOL.

I did a dermabrasion Sat am and did a double dose on two quarter-sized chin areas that have tough lines I'm working on. Guess what two areas were the most coarse and flakey after the Sun night peel. I was 'thinking' that leaving 2-3 days after the peel before the next dermabrasion session would be fine, but I'll go by your advise and give it an extra day - better safe than sorry.
