Pangea Organics Cleanser (SAMPLE SIZE REVIEW)
Pros: Smells nice
Cons: Very watery
Disclaimer: THIS REVIEW IS ON THE 1.0 fl oz SAMPLE size squeeze tube and not on the 4.0 fl oz full size bottle. The contents of the sample size is the same as the full size. Sample sent in my August Birchbox.
When I first got my August Birchbox I saw that I got a Pangea Organics Facial Cleanser. This particular scent is for Oily to Combination Skin. The smell is fantastic and I didn't find it to irritate my skin. The only thing I dislike about the product is that it's VERY watery and I'm use to cleansers that are more creamy.
The full size comes in a pump so that will help when it comes to not wasting product but the sample size you just waste too much product.
The sample size is sold in the Skin Discovery Kit (retail $40) and to be perfectly honest I wouldn't recommend getting the kit simply because this particular product is too watery to be sold in the tube as it is.
As for the product itself. I have very sensitive skin since I have rosacea so many products on the market tend to aggravate my skin, this particular product does not. It does a good job of cleaning my face from makeup but does not remove waterproof mascara or eyeliner. In fact I don't recommend using this near your eyes since it can sting if you have sensitive eyes. I would recommend using this with a soft facial brush or wash cloth instead of applying to your hands, lathering it then applying to your face.
Would I buy this product again? Yes. Despite the fact the full size costs $28 for 4 oz and despite it being watery I would buy this cleanser again but I wouldn't buy a sampler set or the 1 oz squeeze tube.
